Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: October 1, 2026 · Last Updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kaabil, available at kaabil.ai and in the Kaabil apps for Android and iOS. They cover all related products and services, including Kaabil App, Kaabil Hire, Kaabil Campus, Kaabil Assess and Kaabil Agents (together, the "Service").
Kaabil is a product of Redrob Inc. (formerly McKinley Rice Inc.) ("Kaabil", "Redrob", "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you ("User", "you" or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Certain Kaabil products may be governed by additional, product-specific terms ("Supplemental Terms"), which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If there is any conflict between these Terms and any Supplemental Terms, the Supplemental Terms will prevail for the relevant product.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Kaabil is a connected employability and hiring platform owned and operated by Redrob Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of Delaware.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, such as an employer, college, university, school or coaching institute, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Kaabil helps people prove capability and find opportunities, and helps institutions and employers act on stronger evidence. The Service includes:
• Kaabil App: verified skills profiles, job matching, assessments and mock interviews for candidates.
• Kaabil Hire: candidate discovery, pre-employment assessments and hiring workflows for employers.
• Kaabil Campus: readiness tracking, campus-wide assessments and recruiter connections for institutions.
• Kaabil Assess: assessments created from your own material, rubric-based scoring and integrity monitoring.
• Redrob Score: a capability signal out of 1000.
• Kaabil Agents: assistants that support repetitive workflow actions.
Features may vary by plan and may change over time.
3. Eligibility, Registration and Account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service on your own. Users under 18 may use the Service only with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, obtained either through their institution or directly by us. The Service is not directed at children under 13.
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
• provide accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date;
• keep your login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, and must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Licensing and Use of the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited right to access and use the Service. You may use it for your personal career purposes, or for the internal business or institutional purposes of your organisation.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the Company.
5. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
(a) provide false, misleading or impersonated profile, credential or employer information;
(b) cheat, use unauthorised help, or attempt to bypass integrity monitoring during any assessment or mock interview;
(c) share, copy or publish assessment questions, answers or rubrics;
(d) scrape, harvest or bulk-download candidate, student or job data;
(e) use the Service to discriminate unlawfully, harass, spam or send unsolicited communications;
(f) post fraudulent job listings, or charge candidates to apply for roles;
(g) upload malware, or interfere with the security or performance of the Service;
(h) reverse engineer, resell or build a competing product using the Service.
6. Assessments, Redrob Score and Credentials
Assessments, mock interviews, Redrob Score and credentials are designed to give evidence of capability.
Redrob Score is a capability signal out of 1000. It is meant to be reviewed alongside assessments, credentials, resume information and other candidate context. It is not a guarantee of performance, employment or admission, and must not be used as the sole basis for any hiring, placement or academic decision.
Assessments may use proctoring and integrity checks, including your camera, microphone or screen. We tell you when they apply before an assessment starts. Results may be withheld or revoked if misconduct is detected.
7. Kaabil Agents and Automation
Kaabil Agents support repetitive actions such as first responses, rule-based screening, assessment invitations, outreach and stage movement.
Agents do not make final hiring decisions, and the Candidate Agent does not submit job applications on your behalf. You remain responsible for:
• reviewing and approving consequential decisions;
• the rules and settings you configure;
• any messages sent from your account.
AI-generated outputs may contain errors, and should be checked before you rely on them.
8. Connected Gmail Account and Outreach
If you connect your Gmail account, you authorise Kaabil to send outreach emails from that account, within the settings you choose. You can review messages before they are sent, or turn on automatic sending.
You agree that:
• the messages are sent in your name, and you are responsible for their content;
• you will use outreach only to contact recruiters about genuine job opportunities, in line with applicable anti-spam laws and Google's terms;
• sending may be paused or limited to protect your account, including to stay within Gmail's sending limits.
9. Employer and Institution Accounts
If you use Kaabil Hire, Kaabil Campus or Kaabil Assess on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for:
• the users you invite;
• the passes and seats you assign;
• the content you upload, including learning material used to create assessments.
You confirm that:
• you have the rights and any consents required to upload that material and to process candidate or student information through the Service, including parental or guardian consent for students under 18;
• you will use candidate and student data only for legitimate hiring, placement or educational purposes, and in line with applicable law.
10. User Content
You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as profile details, resumes, portfolios, assessment responses, job listings and learning material ("User Content").
You grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display and share your User Content as needed to operate, improve and provide the Service. This includes sharing your profile and evidence with employers or institutions you choose to connect with.
You are responsible for ensuring your User Content is accurate and lawful.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in and to the Service are owned by or licensed to the Company. This includes:
• the Kaabil and Redrob names and logos;
• software and designs;
• assessment content and scoring models;
• the Redrob Score methodology.
Except as expressly set out in these Terms, no rights are granted to you in any intellectual property owned by the Company or its licensors.
12. Payment Terms
12.1 Paid features
Some features of the Service require payment, including paid plans, campus passes and assessment licences. If you make a purchase, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes shown at the time of purchase. Prices include applicable taxes, such as GST, where stated.
12.2 Subscriptions and free trials
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you start a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. We show the trial length, the price and the renewal date before you start.
12.3 Purchases through Google Play or the App Store
Purchases made in the Kaabil app on Android or iOS are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and are also subject to their terms. You can manage or cancel these subscriptions at any time in your store account. On Android, that's Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Refunds for these purchases are handled under the store's refund policy.
12.4 Other purchases
For purchases made directly with us, all fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or expressly stated in your order.
13. Credit and Product Utilisation
The Company may define, limit and enforce the terms of credit, pass and seat usage, including daily or weekly caps, expiry and redemption value. We do this as part of our fair usage framework, or to keep the platform stable.
The Company may also modify, suspend or discontinue any feature or functionality of the Service, with or without prior notice, to maintain performance, security or alignment with its product goals.
14. Resale and External Use of Data
Candidate, student and job data made available through Kaabil is licensed only for the internal hiring, placement or educational purposes of the subscribing organisation.
Any resale, redistribution, sublicensing or use of such data outside those purposes is strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorised in writing by the Company and subject to a separate agreement.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where applicable, the GDPR. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
16. Third-Party Services
The Service works with third-party services, such as Google sign-in, Gmail, LinkedIn, app stores and payment providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
17. Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, in three ways:
• in the app: go to the Profile tab → Privacy, data and legal, and choose Delete account;
• by email: privacy@redrob.io.
What is deleted, and when, is explained in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel that in your store account.
The Company may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms, assessment misconduct, fraudulent activity or non-payment.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply. These include intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers and limitation of liability.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". The Company disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The Company does not guarantee any job offer, interview, placement, admission or hiring outcome, or the accuracy of any score, match or AI-generated output.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, opportunities or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
The Company's total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to the Company in the twelve months before the claim arose.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
21. Unified Account and Cross-Product Access
Kaabil is part of the Redrob suite of products ("Redrob Products"). By creating an account or signing in to Kaabil or any other Redrob Product, you acknowledge and agree that:
• your credentials and sign-in session grant access to all current and future Redrob Products;
• your use of each product is governed by its applicable product-specific terms, which you accept on first access;
• your basic account information may be shared across Redrob Products to provide a unified experience;
• a violation of the terms of any Redrob Product may result in suspension or termination of your access to all Redrob Products.
Google user data is not shared across Redrob Products.
22. Contact and Modifications
Support: support@kaabil.ai, or tap the ? icon at the top of the Profile tab in the app. Privacy and grievances: our Grievance Officer at privacy@redrob.io.
The Company may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Where changes are significant, we will also notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after any change means you accept the updated Terms.
